Google Password Manager: A Comprehensive Guide to Secure Password Management
Protecting your passwords is paramount in today's digital world. Your passwords safeguard access to countless online accounts – email, social media, banking, and more. Given the sheer number of accounts most people manage, remembering unique and strong passwords for each is a significant challenge. The solution? A password manager. This guide focuses on Google Password Manager, a free and versatile option compatible with most devices.
Setting Up Google Password Manager
For first-time users, the easiest starting point is within the desktop version of Google Chrome. Access the Password Manager by clicking the three vertical dots in the top right corner of any Chrome tab, then selecting Passwords and Autofill > Google Password Manager. Here, you can view, edit, and analyze your passwords for weaknesses or duplicates, and configure the manager's settings.
Enable Offer to save passwords and passkeys in the Settings menu to allow Chrome to automatically remember your login credentials. You can also import passwords from other password managers from this screen. Once passwords are saved, activate Sign in automatically for faster logins on recognized websites.
To access your passwords across all your devices, synchronize your data with your Google account. In Chrome, navigate to the three dots (top right) > Settings > You and Google. Sign in to your Google account (if not already signed in) and select Sync and Google services > Manage what you sync to enable password syncing to the cloud.
Accessing Google Password Manager on Other Devices
Google Password Manager offers convenient access beyond Chrome on your computer. A web interface, accessible through any web browser (even when not logged into your Google account), provides a similar experience to the Chrome extension.
Android integration is seamless. On Pixel phones, go to Settings > Passwords, passkeys and accounts, or on Galaxy phones, navigate to Security and privacy > More security settings > Passwords, passkeys, and autofill. Set up Google Password Manager here to save and retrieve passwords for Android apps and Chrome.
Google Chrome for Android also includes the Password Manager; ensure you're signed in with the same Google account linked to your passwords. Access it via the three dots (top right) > Settings > Google Password Manager.
iPhone users can utilize Google Password Manager with Google Chrome for iOS. Access it via the three dots (bottom right) > Password Manager within Chrome. For iOS app logins outside of Chrome, enable Chrome in iOS Settings > General > Autofill & Passwords. Note that saving new credentials may be limited outside of Chrome.
Managing Passwords within Google Password Manager
Once set up, Google Password Manager streamlines the login process. You'll be prompted to save login details upon first-time logins and password updates. For recognized sites and apps, the manager automatically fills in your credentials.
The web app (and other interfaces) offers additional features. Search for specific entries or browse the list. Clicking an entry displays login details, allowing you to copy the password, add notes, edit manually, or delete entries. Regularly review and delete entries for unused apps and sites.
The manager alerts you to weak, duplicate, or compromised passwords. Address these warnings promptly by changing your passwords. By utilizing Google Password Manager, you can significantly enhance your online security while simplifying password management.

mPDF
mPDF is a PHP library that can generate PDF files from UTF-8 encoded HTML. The original author, Ian Back, wrote mPDF to output PDF files "on the fly" from his website and handle different languages. It is slower than original scripts like HTML2FPDF and produces larger files when using Unicode fonts, but supports CSS styles etc. and has a lot of enhancements. Supports almost all languages, including RTL (Arabic and Hebrew) and CJK (Chinese, Japanese and Korean). Supports nested block-level elements (such as P, DIV),
