Elon Musk's X platform experienced widespread outages on Monday morning, leaving many users unable to access the site. While the platform may be functional again by the time you read this, Downdetector registered a significant spike in user complaints, peaking at three distinct times.

Depending on your location and the time of access, you may have encountered difficulties accessing the site. At the time of writing, Downdetector showed over 150,000 reported issues.

The error message displayed to many users attempting to access twitter.com (or x.com) is shown below:

The cause of these outages remains unclear, though the reduced staffing levels under Musk's ownership are a likely contributing factor. This isn't the first time X has suffered major outages since Musk's takeover; similar issues occurred last May. While a resolution is expected, users are currently enjoying an unscheduled break from the platform.
