Locating the Rime Beetle

Rime Beetles, easily identified by their snowballs, inhabit the Iceshard Cliffs. Conveniently, they're marked on your map with a small, blue icon. Use your Seikret to set a waypoint and easily locate them.

While a cluster is often found in Area 2, solitary beetles roam Areas 11 and 13.

Capture Method

Approach carefully and use your Capture Net to secure the Rime Beetle. Note that while your Hook Slinger will yield Nulberry from the snowball, it won't capture the beetle.

Once captured, return to Samin at Windward Plains Base Camp to complete the quest.
