Hyperliquid announced that the HyperEVM main network was officially launched, and the price of its token, HYPE, soared by 6% in a short period of time!
Since the issuance of $HYPE tokens in November last year, the decentralized trading platform Hyperliquid has been attracting much attention from the market. Its advantages of self-custodial, on-chain order book and low transaction fees make it stand out in a highly competitive market and attracts a large number of users.

HyperEVM main network is officially launched
To solve this problem, the Hyperliquid Foundation today announced that the HyperEVM mainnet was officially launched, introducing universal programmability to its efficient financial system. The first version of HyperEVM mainnet contains the following key functions:
- Safe and reliable execution environment: HyperEVM block is built as part of L1 execution and inherits the security of the HyperBFT consensus.
- Native token swap: Supports seamless conversion between native HYPE tokens and HyperEVM HYPE tokens, and HYPE is also a native Gas token for HyperEVM.
- Standard contract deployment: Standard WHYPE system contract was deployed on 0x555…5, which is convenient for DeFi applications. The contract source code can be viewed in the official documentation.
In the future version will gradually launch ERC20 native transfer and precompilation functions. These functions are currently being tested online, and the mainnet release will be carried out in stages to minimize the impact on existing L1 users.
HyperEVM, as the second chain of the Hyperliquid main network, is combined with Hyperliquid's "double-chain solution", which can not only maintain the original high-performance advantages of Hyperliquid, but also significantly enrich its ecological diversity.
HYPE price rises in a short time
