Initiating the Absolver Quest:

After finishing the main quest, "Speak of the Devil," visit the blacksmith in Miskowitz (east side of town). He now acts as a quest tipster. Choose the "What's new?" dialogue option. He'll direct you to Thomas of Kolin at Sigismund's camp in Kuttenberg. Use your map's quest marker to find Thomas; his location within the camp isn't fixed.

Speak with Thomas. He'll ask you to steal Basan's sword.
