Twitter has finally launched a new feature that allows you to quietly remove annoying followers! You can easily manage your follower list without telepathy.
On the web version of Twitter, removing followers is very simple. Testing began in early September, and this feature is now fully launched. Simply enter the target user page, click the three dots to the left of the follow button, and select "Remove this follower". This way, you can avoid pushing your tweets to certain users without letting them know that you have taken action.
You can also visit your profile page, click "Follower", and then click three dots next to the follower you want to remove, and select "Remove this follower". However, this method will be more cumbersome for users with a large number of followers, because Twitter is sorted by the time of followers by default, and users who are following recently will be ranked first.

Removed followers will not receive any notification, but if they visit your profile page, they may find that they can follow you again. If you know them offline, you can say it is a website failure or an operational error. Or, just tell them that their tweets are not good.
Although this is the first time Twitter provides a way to directly remove followers without blocking, the concept of "soft blocking" has been around for some time. This is still your best choice for mobile apps.
Enter the profile page of the user you want to remove, click the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen, and then click "Block". Click "Block" in the dialog box that appears again to confirm your selection. If you're fast enough, you can also click "Undo" in the alert that appears at the top after blocking. If you missed it, just click the red "Blocked" button on their profile page and select "Unblocked". This will remove them from your followers list, but if they find your page, they can still see all your tweets.
Of course, if you want people to unfollow you in a traditional way, you can continue to post some not-so-good tweets.
