To begin your crafting journey, you'll need a Workbench. Purchase one from Sgt. Lakes Outpost or locate one in various containers throughout the game world. Place the Workbench in your shelter (cabin or tent), interact with it, and combine materials to create new items.

However, possessing a Workbench is only half the battle. You'll also need the Crafting Book, available for 60 mk from Kyrre’s Equipment vending machine (orange) at Sgt. Lakes Outpost (accessible by boat). This book unlocks all available crafting recipes.
