Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth's Swashbuckler Showdown: A Guide to Conquering Hawaii's Pirate Elite
The Pirates' Coliseum in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a prime training ground, offering lucrative rewards and boosting your Pirate Rank towards the coveted "Legends of the Sea" title. But once you've secured the four Dark Instruments, a new challenge awaits: the Swashbuckler Showdown.
This ultimate test pits you against Captains Yakuza, Ronin, Shinobi, and Zeus of the Devil Flags, each commanding a formidable force of 100 elite underlings. Prepare for intense battles that will push your crew to their limits.
The Swashbuckler Showdown unlocks after completing the Legend of the Goro Pirates storyline—conquering the islands and aiding Misaki in her quest for revenge. Following your final victory against the four captains, the Showdown becomes available.
Your ship should be well-equipped by this stage. However, if any Goromaru upgrades remain unfinished, now's the time to complete them. While cannons aren't used in these land battles, your Cannon Squad will still participate.
Your optimal crew composition is as follows:
First Mate: Monica

Port | Machine Guns | Starboard |
- Nishida - Julie - Steve - Captain Beef | - Clark - Kazami Evolution | - Daisaku Minami - Natasha - Arque Dangerous III - Kamiyama |

For Majima, the Sea Dog style is recommended for its superior crowd control, speed, and damage output.
The Showdown unfolds in a series of battles:
Third Fleet: This beach battle against 100 enemies is a familiar challenge, similar to previous encounters with the Devil Flags. Utilize area-of-effect (AoE) skills to quickly eliminate groups of foes.
Second Fleet: Another 100-enemy beach battle. While Captain Ronin presents a slightly tougher opponent, this fight should be relatively straightforward given your prior victories and Dark Instruments.
First Fleet: The difficulty increases here. Upgrade Majima's Attack and Health to at least Extreme Level 3 to maintain your advantage. Be mindful of Shinobi's homing missiles.
Strongest Fleet (Zeus): This final battle against Zeus and his 100 elite pirates is the most demanding. The regular pirates are stronger, so maintain distance to avoid combo attacks. Focus your efforts on Zeus with the support of your crew.
Victory in the Swashbuckler Showdown, after completing all Coliseum matches, grants you the Earth Stone, a substantial $650,000, and 300,000 Pirate Reputation Points.
