Conquer the final Beast Hunt in Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter – Scorch the Forest! This challenging encounter, while tougher than previous hunts, will feel manageable given your experience with Sky Scorchers. Defeating these remaining beasts is the key to securing lasting peace for your rat kingdom.

The Sky Scorchers remain, a final hurdle in Arlo's quest to restore his kingdom. Their defeat signifies true victory.

Starting "Scorch the Forest"

Despite the Darkwing's defeat, Arlo's work isn't finished. Each Beast Hunt quest-giver has a new task: hunting the remaining Sky Scorchers.

Return to the Owl Hunter at Nestminster's tavern in the Golden Forest. He'll direct you to the Totem Shrine (where you fought the WereOwl in "A Farmer for the Keep").

Fast travel to the shrine. Restock on supplies, especially ammo, before entering. Sharpen your weapons using a whetstone. Equip your best electric and poison weapons.

Defeating the Golden Forest Sky Scorcher

Inside the Shrine of the Golden Owl, the Sky Scorcher awaits.

Dodge its tail whips, get behind it, and use ranged attacks to reduce its health. At 33% health, it flees to the Abandoned Rangers Camp.

Phase Two: Abandoned Rangers Camp

Follow the Sky Scorcher. Examine the dead owl before it attacks. Begin combat immediately with ranged attacks. When its tail is low, use melee attacks to conserve ammo. Avoid its fiery breath. At 33% health, it flees again to the Underoot Ditch.

Phase Three: Underoot Ditch

In the Underoot Ditch, defeat the WereOwl Cultists (fire and poison weapons are effective). The Sky Scorcher will join the fight. Switch back to your electric and poison weapons. Avoid the red floor glow indicating its powerful attack and its fiery breath. Utilize ranged attacks for maximum damage and minimal risk.

After defeating the Sky Scorcher, collect the Green Sky Scorcher Egg to complete the quest. You'll also receive:
