Mastering the Skills in Sniper Elite: Resistance
Sniper Elite: Resistance offers a wealth of unlockables, many obtained through varied methods: campaign progression, in-mission discoveries, or unique Kill Target eliminations. However, skill point acquisition remains consistent.
Earning Skill Points
Skill points are awarded upon leveling up. Your level is displayed in the top-right of the pause menu, below your username. Each level-up grants one skill point. Leveling up requires earning XP.
Earning XP
XP is earned by completing mission objectives (main and side), eliminating Kill Targets, and simply killing Nazis. Completing objectives in other game modes also awards XP. The XP reward varies depending on the kill method; more skillful kills (e.g., a heart shot combined with a Ghost Kill) yield more XP than simple body shots. Factors like kill distance and Nazi type also influence XP gains.
Applying Skill Points
To spend your skill points, pause the game and navigate to the "Skills" section (top-left of the screen, between "Options" and "Map"). The "Campaign & Co-Op Skills" screen allows automatic skill point allocation or manual selection. Skill points are earned across all modes but must be applied separately for each.
