Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's expansive world is filled with captivating side quests that often rival the main storyline in terms of intrigue and length. These quests introduce memorable characters and offer hours of engaging gameplay. However, discovering these hidden gems requires a bit of exploration. While some quests naturally unfold through interactions, others require seeking out specific NPCs in unique locations.
Finding Quest Tipsters
Keep an eye out for grey shield icons with a blue exclamation point. These icons mark the locations of NPCs who can provide quest leads. Taverns are particularly reliable locations to find these quest givers; the innkeeper often serves this role.
To initiate a quest, simply talk to the quest tipster and inquire about local news or any tasks they might have. If a quest is available, they'll provide details, and a new side quest icon (a grey shield with a yellow star) will appear on your map. Remember, this icon marks the actual quest start location, not the tipster's location.
Identifying and Starting Side Quests
Side quests are indicated by grey shield icons containing a yellow star. Travel to these locations and speak with the designated NPC to begin the quest. The quest will then be added to your journal. You can choose to tackle time-sensitive quests immediately or save them for later.
Managing Your Quest Load
Note that you can only actively track a maximum of three side quests at a time. Additional quests will remain in your journal, but will appear greyed out until you have space to track them. Remember that time-limited quests will disappear if not completed within the allotted timeframe.
