Love and Deepspace offers a wealth of gameplay and narrative experiences, but its collectible Memories are arguably its most captivating feature. These unlock deeper character stories and strengthen player bonds. This guide details all methods for acquiring these cherished Memories.

Memories are obtained through various avenues: special events, permanent and limited-edition Wish Pools, and the Monthly Promise.

What are Memories?

Memories are collectible moments used within your combat team and during special story dates. They're essential for accessing combat stages, enhancing battle capabilities in challenges like Deepspace Trials and the Hunter Contest, and enriching the main storyline via the Deepspace Café's Date tab.

Memory Types

Memories are categorized by rarity and type, each offering unique interactions:

Memory Rarity

Memories have three rarity levels:

• Three-star (R): Most common, frequently drawn, easiest to upgrade, but less useful in later game stages. Lack special interactions, background imagery, and combat buffs.
• Four-star (SR): Mid-tier, better combat buffs, slightly harder to upgrade, unlock audio stories ("By Your Side" menu) and occasionally Falling For You Memoria stories. Some are audio-only ("Secret Times"), others include written narratives ("Tender Moments"). Memoria tab entries offer visual novel-style experiences but lack "Kindled" moments; instead, the four-star memory image provides context.
• Five-star (SSR): Rarest, most powerful buffs, hardest to obtain. Unlock fully interactive 3D stories ("Falling For You" tab) and a replayable "Kindled" moment in the Memory tab. Sub-categories include Bonds, Memoria, and Myths.

Bond

Interactive moments directly related to the main storyline.

Memoria

Side-quests or standalone adventures. Most limited-time event memories fall into this category, disappearing after the event unless reruned or permanently added to the Wish Pool.

Myths

Stories set before or after the main storyline, sometimes depicting past lives or alternate timelines. These are multi-chapter narratives unlocked by collecting Myth Shards and completing Mythic Memory pairs. Unlocking five-star memories adds their "Kindled" moments to the Myth storyline.

Acquiring Memories

Multiple methods exist for obtaining and upgrading Memories:

Wish Pools

• Xspace Echo (Permanent): Uses Empyrean Wishes, contains only permanent memories.
• Limited Wish Pools: Change with events, feature limited five-star memories and use Deepspace Wishes or Limited Deepspace Wishes. Unused Limited Deepspace Wishes convert to Empyrean Wishes after the pool closes.

Wish Crates

Obtained from Wish Pool pull rewards. Contain single memories; SR crates hold four-star memories, SSR crates hold five-star memories. Crates may contain permanent or limited memories depending on their origin. Xspace Echo crates work retroactively, allowing draws of new character memories even from previously obtained crates. Some crates offer memory selection, others are random. Event crates usually only contain memories from that event's pool.
