Understanding Pokémon TCG Pocket Trading
Before you begin trading, understand these key restrictions:
Low-Rarity Trades: Trading cards of 2-diamond rarity or lower requires only Trade Stamina, which replenishes over time, similar to Pack and Wonder Stamina.
High-Rarity Trades: Trading 3-diamond, 4-diamond (ex cards), or 1-star rarity (full art cards) requires both Trade Stamina and Trade Tokens. Trade Tokens are a new in-game currency earned by discarding duplicate high-rarity cards.
Untradeable Cards: Currently, you cannot trade cards of 2-star rarity or higher. Consider using duplicates of these cards to acquire Trade Tokens.
Acquiring Trade Tokens
To obtain Trade Tokens, navigate to "My Cards," select a high-rarity card with multiple duplicates, choose "Obtain Items," and then select Trade Tokens as your reward (Flair or Premium Tokens are also options depending on the card's rarity). Prioritize discarding undesirable duplicates of 3-diamond rarity or higher cards to maximize your Trade Token gain.
