Upon collecting all seven Chaos Emeralds, characters from the Sonic franchise can go Super. Naturally, this power extends to Shadow as well, so you'll be able to run beyond the speed of sound as his golden self in Sonic Speed Simulator on Roblox too, in a limited-time event.
This event is not easy to complete though, and if you're confused as to what needs to be done, this guide is here to show you the steps you'll need to take to have this power for yourself! As the event consists of two parts, let's start with part one, which will in turn also unlock Silver.
In order to be able to start making progress with Part 2: Super Shadow, you'll need to complete the first part of the event.
This event consists of seven tasks that you can do in any order you'd like, spanning across three Zones. This guide will cover them area by area, and you can find the ones you're interested in from the jump links above.
Completing Part 1 will reward you with Silver the Hedgehog as a playable character, and each task completed will reward you with a Silver-themed Chao, Trail or other, which is a nice bonus too. With that out of the way, let's get started with Green Hill Zone
For Part 1, the best stat to have is definitely Magnet, as the Event stat does not apply here. If you can, use Chao and Trails with the Magnet stat, as it will make the collectible quests a lot easier and faster.
There are two quests tied to Green Hill:
From spawn, there is the beginning of a path that goes all around Green Hill. Following this path ensures you'll cover the entire area of the map, missing only a few off-paths which connect different areas of the main path, and in turn get the most Rings possible in the shortest amount of time.
Chao bonuses don't work here, as the game counts individual Rings you've picked up, and not the amount of Rings added to your balance, so keep that in mind.
Whilst you're on this path, you'll encounter Sky Rings, which are big red rings that float above certain parts of the path. Going through these awards XP, and this is definitely the harder part of Green Hill quests, as you'll need to go through 150 of these.
The best place to farm these can be found by going right at the first fork in the main path, coming from spawn, as there's a rail with four of them as shown in the image above, and another six are close by too.
There are two quests tied to Lost Valley:
These quests take a bit longer to finish, as Emerald Shards are a bit less abundant than Rings, but you'll need to collect twice the amount of these. Following the path from spawn, you'll encounter green Emerald Shards, which are tied to the Hologram Havoc permanent event. There is no easy way to do this; you'll just need to collect 2,000 of them. You might need to loop around Lost Valley a dozen times or so to complete this quest.
If you haven't completed the Hologram Havoc event already, this part of the quest will take care of the hardest part of that Event too. Whilst in Lost Valley, you can also destroy 100 Badniks and break 30 Stone Tablets to receive Hologram Metal Sonic!
Whilst you're looking for the Emerald Shards, you can also destroy Generators found around the map. These behave exactly like Badniks, and you'll need to jump to lock onto them. They respawn, so whilst looping around the map, destroy any that you see; by the time you're back at spawn, the first ones you destroyed will be back.
Adventure Shadow and Doom Shadow have a unique ability to fire homing Chaos Spears, which makes this a lot easier. If you happen to have either of them, use them for this quest as they can shoot the Generators down without requiring you to stop and lock in on each one individually.
There are two quests tied to Emerald Hill:
These are the hardest quests of Part One. Gathering 1,500 Pink Crystals works the same way as gathering Emerald Shards, they spawn on the path less frequently than Rings. They're tied to the Save Amy permanent Event, where you'll have to gather 5,000 in total to unlock her. The main path will lead you through collecting these, and they do respawn.
The downside here is that the other quest has to be completed in a separate sub-area, and so these quests need to be taken on one at a time. Tornado Assault is one of the few Events that don't appear in the spawn, and instead you'll need to go forward from spawn in order to reach it, across the two bridges.
Step through the portal at the Event, and you'll be sent into the Tornado Assault mini-game. Points are awarded as follows:
Once completed, you'll be awarded the points, and can then replay the course. A perfect run will get you around 1,000 points, so expect to do this at least ten times.
Finally, you'll need to defeat Dr. Eggman once. He has 900,000 HP, and a portal to him can be found in Emerald Hill, but can also be accessed from the Fast Travel menu, by going left from the first few area teleports.
He can be fought with up to 16 players, but he can be solo-ed if you have Chao and Trails with a lot of damage. The fight consists of breaking three Generators at a time to destroy his shield.
Upon doing so, he will be vulnerable, and you can damage him for a quarter of his maximum health during this time. Then, the shields come back on, and Generators need to be broken again. Special powers and Super characters don't have an advantage here, so the character you pick does not matter.
The fight lasts a total of five minutes, so you'll need to defeat him in this time. You can't lose otherwise, as his only ability is to freeze you in place; so avoid his frost lasers. They tend to stay close to the ground, so try to keep yourself in the air as long as you can.
If you've completed all the quests prior, defeating Eggman will reward you with Silver, and the first part of the Event is complete. Silver has a solid Magnet stat, but is otherwise a regular character.
Now we come to what we've all been waiting for: the Super Shadow part of the Event.
This event consists of, again, seven quests across three Zones; only this time, most of the quests are all related to two things:
Finally, you will need to defeat a stronger version of Dr. Eggman. The quests take longer to complete, but award you with some of the best Trails and Chao in the game right now.
The Event stat doesn't apply here either, so we recommend Stamina for these quests. You won't need to collect anything, so your best bet is to just go through these as quickly as possible using Stamina.
Most of the Event quests require you to close Illusions and destroy Phantoms. Here is what you'll need to do:
Phantoms are stronger, bigger versions of Badniks; so jumping will lock you onto them, and jumping again will damage them. They spawn in these three Zones only, and you'll need a lot of damage to kill them. For this, we recommend equipping Chao and Trails with the highest damage stat you have.
Destroying Phantoms is a lot easier than closing Illusions, but it can be made even easier with either Adventure Shadow or Doom Shadow, as their Chaos Spear ability can go through Phantoms a lot faster.
Illusions appear throughout the Zones, alongside the main paths. They work the same way Glitches do in Cyber Station Zone; upon approaching one, a pop-up will appear, prompting you to close the Illusion. This can't be made easier with any stat or character ability, so you'll have to go to each one and close it individually.
These quests will take the longest out of the quests mentioned so far, so pop in some music from the Music menu, and take your time finding them. They respawn after some time, so if you've run out of places to look, go back to the spawn and start the path again.
The final quest of this Event requires beating Dr. Eggman on Hard Mode. The portal to this fight can be found in New Yoke, and on the Travel menu.
This fight works the same way as the regular Dr. Eggman fight, but you'll need even more damage than last time, as he has a whopping 75,000,000 HP this time. Again, you'll need to destroy three Generators at a time, which will lower his shield, leaving him vulnerable; only this time the platforms are higher up, as shown in the image above.
You can only deal a quarter of his health in damage, and then the shield comes back on, where you'll need to destroy Generators again. You have five minutes for this fight too, but this time his freezing powers are stronger, so you'll need to be more careful.
Because of his immense HP, we recommend getting some Fast Friends, and five Raider Chao from the Exotic Vending Machine in Hill Top Zone. Fusing the Raider Chao will make your Damage high enough to where you can solo him.
If all the quests are completed, you will be rewarded with Super Shadow.
Super Shadow is one of the few characters with the Super rarity. He is one of the fastest characters in the game, with a top speed on flat terrain of about 550.
He has two abilities, the first of which is leveled flight. When you jump, boosting will result in flight as long as you have Energy to boost. His Stamina stat makes this last a very long time, and when flying he has a speed of about 520.
His second ability is the strongest Chaos Spear in the game, which can hit up to five enemies. This makes him the most effective character to use when hunting for Badniks.
He does have one downside, which is a Super meter that needs to be constantly filled in order to stay in Super form. Collecting Rings fills up the bar, but letting it deplete will transform you into a random Shadow skin from your inventory.
