Hi everyone,
I’d like to introduce you to Tab-R, a browser extension I’ve been working on for the past six months. It’s compatible with Chromium-based browsers and Firefox.
The idea for Tab-R came from my frustration with the default new tab pages in browsers. They always felt so plain and boring—just a search box and not much else. I wanted something better. That’s where Tab-R comes in.
My goal with Tab-R was simple:
It’s also open source and licensed under MIT, so anyone can tweak it to fit their needs.
Honestly, I just wanted to create something that I’d enjoy using every day. I love nature, and seeing amazing landscapes every time I open a new tab brings a bit of joy into my browsing. Plus, I wanted to share this with others while keeping it open and free for everyone.
If this sounds interesting, feel free to check out the project on GitHub: Tab-R Repository.
