Monopoly Go: Friendship Pays Rewards Guide (January 2-5)

If you’ve spent any meaningful amount of time with your people this holiday season, then you and Monopoly Go both can confirm that Friendship Pays – Scopely’s hit mobile game is just doing that with a banner event instead of a warm, fuzzy feeling, running between 10AM EST on January 2 and 10AM EST on January 5.

Finishing just after the New Year’s Treasures dig event, the Friendship Pays banner event is your source for more than 170 free New Year’s Treasures tokens! We’ll also be receiving a little more than 18,000 free dice rolls as Friendship Pays rewards today, too.

How To Earn Rewards In Friendship Pays

One of the easier types of banner events in Monopoly Go, thankfully, we'll only need to focus on landing on the spaces with pickup tiles on them to earn points for the Friendship Pays event! These are easier because you can physically see the Friendship Pays pickup tokens ahead - they're the Circular tokens with black top hats on them.

When pickup tokens like the ones in Friendship Pays are easy to spot like this, it makes it that much easier to manually increase your dice roll multiplier when you see a good several tiles with pickup tokens on them up ahead. You'll use some more dice this way, but you'll earn Friendship Pays points that much faster.

If you've been chipping away at the New Year's Treasures dig event this week so far with Sofia uncovering all sorts of fun, festive gear, you'll be pleased to know that you can earn more than 170 extra New Year's Treasures tokens from Friendship Pays today in Monopoly Go. Of the 50 milestones in the banner event, 12 of them offer free New Year's Treasures tokens, with the final payout coming at milestone 42.

But not all the good rewards are limited to New Year's Treasures; we've got plenty of awesome rewards in Friendship Pays in Monopoly Go!
