The Crossroads in Hades 2 has never felt more lively than under Melinoe's loving touch. With dozens of options to choose from - all based on your relationships with those at the Crossroads, the dreary landscape will be transformed from a swampy hovel to a utopia for shades, gods, and titans alike.
Of course, getting your hands on every piece of decor - especially decor for your favorite companions (and Nemesis, apparently) - is going to take some dedication, a few deaths, and no small amount of Prestige. After all, Rome wasn't built in a day - or so the Fates say.
Hades 2 is currently in early-access. Due to its transient, changing nature and unironed bugs, the information in this article will be subject to change as we discover more and as the game evolves. Please be patient.
Updated on Januaruy 1 2024, by Alexis Campbell: We've added even more information here, including a complete list of all decoration items, more musical arrangements information, additional triggers for certain items, and more.
Before we get started decorating every nook, corner, and cranny of the Crossroads, the first priority will be cleaning up and expanding the area via a few incantations from the cauldron.
Doing so will unlock a few key features that will be needed to further decorate home-sweet-home.
The areas you can build are:
Location |
Incantation Name |
Cost |
---|---|---|
The Garden |
Flourishing Soil |
1 Moly |
The Wretched Broker (Shop) |
Summoning of the Mercantile Fortune |
10 Bones |

1 Silver, 2 Ash, 2 Moly |

Rite of Vapor-Cleansing |
2 Moly, 2 Lotus, 2 Nightshade |

2 Nectar, 2 Garlic |

For better insights into upgrades and incantations, see our official guide.
Dora will prompt you for a conversation about the renewal project eventually once you begin expanding the Crossroads and have given her at least one Nectar.
She'll appear in three locations for decoration:
Sometimes, Dora only appears to spawn in the training grounds. If you'd like to reset her to the central area or your tent for decorating, visit and speak with her in the training grounds and return to the central area. She should be moved there.
Beyond the normal decorations selected with Dora, you may also decorate the Crossroads with three statues hand-crafted by Schelemeus.
Each statue requires you to clear a run with a certain level of Fear both above and below with the special Trial of Night gauntlet.

8 Fear |
---|---|
Second Statue |
16 Fear |
Third Statue |
32 Fear |
For more information on these statues and the trials, see our official guide on the Trials of Night.
Decorating will require you to use a new type of currency: Prestige.
Prestige can only be gained by trading in spare items to the Wretched Broker (not fish!) after using the "Earthly Fortune" incantation at the cauldron. You can get consistent items for trading from:
It appears that supply and crafting items are limited to those that can no longer be used to upgrade things. If any recipe or incantation that uses that item (either present or not yet unlocked) remains, the item will not appear for trade.
As your relationships with certain individuals deepen, decor related to that character may appear in your available decor.
Most relationships will require at least a 70 percent approval rating of Melinoe before their items appear, and some will require a max relationship (like Moros).
Additionally, progressing questlines and completing successful runs above and below will unlock more items over time.
You won't be able to determine if new items are added for decoration until you check the decor tab.
Some items will also spontaneously appear after a certain number of nights have passed, defeating particular enemies and reaching new areas or speaking to a character a particular amount of times.
This mostly applies to music, but some items in the central area fall under this category as well.
The following tables cover every available item for purchase currently discovered, organized by location.
Each has its cost in Prestige, any additional costs they may require, and any unlock requirements we were, to the best of our ability, able to confidently ascertain.
