While most of the mysteries in Indiana Jones And The Great Circle are contained in just one region, the Serpent's Chest questline will take you all around the world to revisit past locations. These keys are quite far off the beaten path, so it's unlikely you'll have found them on your own before discovering the Serpent's Chest in Voss' camp.
If you're having trouble tracking down all three keys, this is the guide you're looking for.
How To Start The Serpent's Chest Mystery
This mystery kicks off in the Sukhothai region at Voss' camp. Start by fast traveling to the Wat Chana Songkhram, the closest checkpoint to the camp. Crawl under the wall and head to the left, then cross the bridge into Voss' camp.
The Royal Army Uniform, which you can find in Voss' camp, makes getting around here much easier.
When you get to the end of the bridge and enter the camp proper, take a right and you'll see a green tent on the other side of a truck. The Serpent's Chest is inside that tent. Jump over the knee-high wall at the end of the chain link fence to find the door to the tent, enter and you'll see Voss' Letter sitting on the table next to the Serpent's Chest
Where To Find The Keys To Unlock The Serpent's Chest
As Voss' Letter explains, the keys to the Serpent's Chest have been scattered around the world. You'll need to return to Vatican City, Gizeh, and Shanghai to find each of the three keys, then return to Voss' camp in Sukhothai to open the chest.
Vatican City Key
The Vatican City Key is located in the underground area beneath the Excavation Site. It's probably been some time since you explored this area, so it's going to be a little confusing to navigate.
Start by fast traveling to the Excavation Site then head down into the pit. Use the platforms to break your fall as you descend down. When you reach the big open chamber at the bottom, turn around and head into the small gap in the wall behind you.
Follow the twists and turns of this passageway, then jump into the hole to fall into the water below. Swim through the door underwater, then continue swimming until you get to a big open room. The passageway continues straight ahead and slightly to the left. Climb out of the water and squeeze through the gap in the wall to enter the maze.
It's easy to get lost down here, but if you follow the lit torches you should eventually find a steep drop-off with a pair of boards creating a ramp down. When you get to the bottom turn right and crawl through the small hole. Walk forward until you reach a railing with water on the other side. Above you will be a broken bridge that you can swing across, but instead, jump into the water and swim towards the far wall.
Dive underwater when you get to the far wall. You'll find a passageway dead center that will lead to a big piece of wood blocking the way forward. Interact with it to lift it up, then emerge from the water. You'll find the Ancient Vatican Key on the ground at the top of the stairs.
Gizeh Key
The Gizeh key is much easier to track down than the Vatican City key. It's located in the Tomb of Khentkawes excavation site, which is the dig site with the central elevator you had to reroute power in the middle of the map in between two restricted zones. Head to the center of the excavation area where the elevator is.
Don't go down the elevator, but instead, head into the section where the Nazis have been pumping out water. Follow the big water hose from the pump so you know you're going the right way. Take the first right and head up the stairs, then make a left into the big open chamber where all the water is. You're going to head all the way down to the opposite side of this room, taking care to avoid any enemies that might be patrolling.
When you reach the far wall jump into the water. There's an underwater passageway against this wall on the far side you may have discovered on your first visit here. Swim down and emerge on the other side. There's light leading you to the left, but instead, dive into the water again and look at the wall on the right. You'll see a piece of wood blocking a passageway. Interact with it, then swim through to find the Ancient Gizeh Key on the other side.
Shanghai Key
Backtracking through Shanghai can be pretty tricky. When you revisit the area you begin where Indy and Gian found the plane. Traverse across the rooftop, jump across the gap, and drop down into the building straight ahead to find that it is still on fire.
Once inside stay to the right and jump over the big hole in the floor. You might get stuck on the broken wood here, but just keep jumping until you get over it. Then you're going to shimmy across the narrow piece of floor still attached to the wall ahead of you. When you get to the other side, turn right, then left, and leave the building.
Once outside, jump across the rooftops until you get to the fire, then turn right to find a narrow alleyway. Go through the connected building and continue until you can safely jump down to the ground. You should now be close to a canal and a broken bridge that goes over it.
If you missed it your first time here, there's a comic book called Chilling Encounters on the balcony to the left of the crashed airplane.
Follow the canal to the right until you reach the wall, then jump in. In the small gap between the sidewalk and the wall you'll find yet another underwater passageway blocked by a plank of wood.
Interact with the wood to lift it out of the way, then swim through to find the Ancient Shanghai Key on the other side.
The last step is to return to the Serpent's Chest in Voss' camp and open it with all three keys, revealing an Ancient Relic inside.
