Indwelling a Qucusaurus will help you soar high above the sky. It makes exploration much more convenient, as you can go almost anywhere provided that you have enough Phlogiston. You will find some boosters called Scorchwind Conflux, which you can collect to quickly recharge your Phlogiston and fly continuously.

Qucusaurus glides like any other normal character, but using its abilities, you can ascend to places that are harder to reach by climbing or other means. You can also plunge by quickly descending to the ground. If you dash into the sky, Qucusaurus will fly much faster.

Qucusaurus are also able to explore areas with Gaseoues Phlogiston without being affected by burns. These gases also generate wind currents that you can hop on with your Qucusaurus.
