How To Play The Dragonite/Weezing Deck In Pokemon TCG Pocket

This deck is significantly more affordable and easy to build than others without compromising offensive power, although it is a bit slower to set up. For that very reason, you must always focus on three specific cards, which are the backbone of this deck:

Weezing

Weezing should always be your first active Pokemon, as it's HP and Poke Power should help to chip away the opponent's HP and take a few hits while you set up your Dragonite line. It should resist most of the early-game attacks with ease unless you face a Fighting-type deck, so you should be safe to withstand some turns while your dragon folks are set up.

Always remember to de-select the Darkness-type energy from the Deck Menu, as it will only lower your chances of getting Water and Electric-type Energies, and you should never attack with Weezing in the first place.

Koga

Of course, Weezing is not immortal, and the tides of a match can be turned quite quickly, which is why Koga is here; before the opponent can get the final hit on your Weezing, always use this Supporter card to retire it for free.

Not only this will circumvent the high retreat cost Weezing has, but also help you to immediately start setting that Weezing up again in full HP, should you ever need it back from the bench.

Dragonite

And that takes us to the final part of this strategy; by this point, and if luck is in your favor, you should have your Dragonite ready to go. This massive unit has one sole move, Draco Meteor, which targets your opponent's team four times at random, dealing 50 points with each hit.
