One of the first named characters you'll meet is Hullifer XVII, a humble mushroom person who enjoys more scholarly pursuits. Any good scholar needs a magnifying glass for reading any tiny text and that includes Hullifer XVII, so it's time for you to get chiseling.

How To Find Magnifying Glass Pieces

Hullifer XVII arrives on the fourth day, and he’ll ask if you have a Magnifying Glass available for him to purchase. Once you accept this request, you’ll now be able to find two new trinkets: a Magnifying Glass and a Magnifying Glass Lens.

You don’t have to worry about Hullifer XVII leaving after a day, as he’ll stick around for as long as it takes for you to fulfill his request.

Go back to the workshop, and start using the Chisel to uncover some new trinkets until you get either the magnifying glass or the Lens, and it will generally take around two to four trinket bags for you to find one of them.
