Chicken Police: Into The Hive! - Chapter Three Walkthrough

In the previous chapters of Chicken Police: Into The Hive, Sonny and Marty witnessed Frank's death. Before dying, he said some strange things, but the duo got entangled in another case before investigating further. After reviewing threats to famous actor Lupus, they attended El Wuff’s screening to protect him.

There, they met the king and his mysterious new advisor, Lady Kayla. At the screening’s end, Sonny learns Lupus's body double has been killed and finds a note in the old insect language near the body. Are these events connected? Could it tie to Frank's murder? Answers await in this chapter.

Plan Bloodboyle's Birthday Party

In this chapter, you start in front of Zipp’s Café. First, enter the café, talk to Zipp, and exhaust his dialogues. Then, ask him about M.E.A.T. He’ll give you a tin can containing this product, which will be added to your inventory. This will also provide a clue for the ‘What is M.E.A.T.?’ task.

To progress the main story, use the Strange Paper in your inventory on Zipp. He’ll suggest that Queen can read the text on the paper. Additionally, if you use the Golden Fang on Zipp, you can ask him about Mick.

There’s nothing more to do in the café, so head to Clawville Police Dept. When you speak with Monica twice in the reception, she’ll mention Chief Bloodboyle’s birthday, activating the ‘Bloodboyle’s Birthday’ task. To start, speak with Moses in the department, and both Moses and Plato will agree to attend the birthday.

Using the Message From The King item on Moses will complete the ‘Moses and Plato’s Secret Mission’ task.

Return to Zipp’s Café and talk to Zipp and Uncle Millen, who will also agree to attend the birthday. Next, go to Bubo’s Clinic. Bubo will initially discuss Frank’s missing body. After the conversation, enter the room at the back through the clinic’s door.

After entering the clinic’s back door, you’ll find one of the collectibles, a pin-up calendar picture, on the shelf to the left of Bubo.

If you convinced Douglas regarding the ‘Lost Melodies’ task, you’ll find him at the clinic. After speaking with him, he’ll leave the clinic. If you use the tin can containing M.E.A.T. from Zipp on Bubo, he’ll agree to examine it, but first, you’ll need to open the tin can. To do this, combine the Golden Fang with the tin can in your inventory.

Give the opened tin can to Bubo, who will then instruct you to return later to learn the results. Ask Bubo about Bloodboyle’s birthday, and he’ll agree to attend.

Return to Clawville Police Dept., where everyone you invited will be present for the birthday. The only thing left is to find a gift for Bloodboyle. For this, give the Golden Fang in your inventory to Monica. She’ll make an announcement, and you’ll gift it to Bloodboyle, completing the ‘Bloodboyle’s Birthday’ task.

Discover The Spy’s Identity

Go to Distant Light and enter through the entrance. After speaking with Brutus and Castor, use the metal door to reach the Queen. After exhausting her dialogues, ask her about Douglas, and she’ll accept him as her pianist again, completing the ‘Lost Melodies’ task and earning an achievement.

Then, use the Strange Paper on Queen. She’ll reveal that the text was written by someone from the intelligence service—a mysterious, well-traveled, nearly invisible person with knowledge of everything.

To find out this person’s identity, head to Sonny’s Flat. While Marty is dying to know who it is, Sonny says he’ll make a call. The person to call is Lewis, whose number is 555-932. After calling, Sonny will invite him over.

If you call all the numbers at this point, you’ll earn the 'Call Center' achievement.

When Lewis arrives at your flat, use the Strange Paper on him. You’ll discover that Lewis is a spy and has been playing a role all along. This will unlock the interrogation option with him. Here are the questions and their scores:

It’s not possible to Achieve five stars with the good cop approach for Lewis, so switch to bad cop for a five-star score.

After successfully interrogating Lewis, you’ll earn the 'Spymaster Lewis' Achievement.

After interrogating Lewis, Calla will enter the room. Interrogating Lewis will also yield clues for the ‘Lewis And The King’ and ‘Filmar’s Patron’ tasks. Once you’ve exhausted Calla and Lewis’s dialogues, speak to Marty, and both Lewis and Calla will leave the scene.

After they depart, Marty will inform you that his wife, Laura, has invited Sonny to dinner, mentioning that Monica will also be there. He’ll then suggest that you should get some rest and will walk away. Marty will dream of his ex-wife, Molly, and afterward, Sonny will head to Marty’s apartment for dinner.

After speaking with Monica, you’ll enter Marty’s home, where Sonny will realize that Laura is pregnant and feel surprised that Marty hadn’t told him. Once you’ve spoken to everyone in the room, click on the dining table to trigger a cutscene. After the dialogues, Laura will encourage Sonny to convince Marty to leave the job, even if it means breaking his heart.

Outside the apartment, Sonny will tell Marty that Chicken Police is disbanding, but they’ll go on one last mission involving the unfinished business with Frank.

Infiltrate The M.E.A.T. Factory

First, head to the department. At the department, exhaust Filmar's dialogues and ask him about Kingsguard to complete the 'Filmar’s Patron' task.

After speaking with Moses here, the M.E.A.T. Factory, headquarters of the Golden Fang Clan, will be unlocked and accessible. Before heading there, stop by Bubo’s Clinic and speak to Bubo to complete the 'What is M.E.A.T.?' task. He’ll inform you that the product is made from genuine insect meat.

When you arrive at the M.E.A.T. Factory, click on the main entrance first, then the tower, the factory, the chimneys labeled 'Meat,' and finally the large silo on the far right to reveal a back entrance. Click on the back door on the left side of the area.

Upon entering the back entrance, check in front of the machine on the right side to find one of the pin-up calendar images on the floor.

Perform An Autopsy On Frank

Go inside through the rear entrance, where you’ll find Frank’s lifeless body. You’ll also see Zipp’s tail hanging on the coat rack to the left of the door. This is a required item for completing the 'Strange Souvenir' task, though you won’t finish it in this chapter. Next, it’s time to examine Frank’s body

1. Start by using the first tool to open his abdomen.
2. Use the fourth tool next.
3. Use the third tool, the scissors.
4. Use the fourth tool again.
5. Use the fifth tool, the scalpel.
6. Use the fifth tool once more.
7. Finally, use the second tool to conclude the mini-game, which will add a Ball of Goo to your inventory.

To dissolve the goo, click on the tin cans on the right side of the room. Marty will find some Strong Acid there, which will be added to your inventory. If you’ve received five stars from all the people you’ve interrogated so far, you’ll unlock the 'Hardboiled Legend' achievement.

Additionally, if you haven’t failed any interrogations so far, you’ll earn the 'Sherlock Combs' achievement.

After watching the cutscene, Sonny will find himself with Marty in a hotel on New Year's Eve. After examining everything, click on the blood splatters on the couch and the reception desk. Mercedes will then appear from the elevator, injured. The following cutscene will mark the end of this chapter.
