Dean Skurka, the CEO, was reportedly forced into a vehicle during rush hour in Toronto on Monday morning. The assailants then demanded money for his release, CBC reported.
Skurka was released unharmed later that day after he paid a ransom of Canadian Dollar 1 million ($720,660), according to the report. In a publicly released statement, Skurka said that "client funds and data remain safe, and were not impacted by this incident."
