These beautiful dogs are ready to find their forever families…
CALLIE, the Belgian Shepherd Malinois is one year and six months old.
(Image: Animal Rescue Cumbria) This intelligent girl is looking for an active family who will take her out on plenty of adventures.
As well as physical activity, she will need lots of mental stimulation due to her athletic breed.
Callie would like to be the only pet in the home but could potentially live with older children over ten years old.
She would be happy to go for walks alongside other dogs and would love a secure garden to call her own.
POPPY is a ten-month-old Collie and Staffie cross.
(Image: Animal Rescue Cumbria) This ‘energetic and playful’ girl is still young and has lots to learn, so she is looking for a family that can continue her training.
She needs an owner who can give her plenty of love and attention as she settles in and would love a secure garden where she can run and play.
Poppy would like to be the only pet in the home but could potentially live with children over the age of 12.
Animal Rescue Cumbria said living with someone who is around most of the time would be best for Poppy.
TEDDY, a Lurcher, is one year and ten-months-old.
(Image: Animal Rescue Cumbria) This ‘very affectionate boy’ enjoys being with people and would love his new family to be around most of the time.
He is looking for an understanding owner who can continue his training and needs a home with a secure garden to roam around.
Teddy could live with older children over 12 years old.
Animal Rescue Cumbria said he could potentially live alongside a female dog who is calm and well-balanced following careful introductions during appointments.
MIKE, the Spitz Cross, is estimated to be around five years old.
(Image: Animal Rescue Cumbria) This ‘very sweet’ boy has been with the charity for over a year and is looking for an extra special, patient owner who can continue his training.
Mike needs a quiet, adults only home where there are few visitors, and he is the only pet.
The charity said: “Once Mike gets to know you, he is a very sweet boy who enjoys a fuss. He loves to explore our secure field, and his recall is coming on well.
“Mike can be reactive when out on walks so would like to find a home in a quiet are where there are not many other dogs and will need an owner who can build his confidence. A home away from built up areas where there are quiet walks would be great for Mike.”
