The crew behind Love and Deepspace put their hearts and souls into every part of the game, and with little moments like the secret Player Birthday Event, it shows. Every year, there is a special birthday event for each one of the main characters, including you. On your birthday, log into the game for a delightful surprise party.

How To Set And Change Your Birthday

When you first start playing Love and Deepspace, you'll have to go through the character creation menu and customise your character's voice, appearance, and name, as well as create your account and add your birthdate.

If you chose to skip the birthdate section or you chose the wrong birthday, you can always reset it from the player profile. Simply select the pencil icon next to the DOB section.

To change a birthday, you will need a Birthday Edit Pass.

Birthday Edit Passes get costly, too, as each one costs 300 Crystals (which can only be bought with in-app purchases), so you should do your best to make sure you get your birthday correct the first time around. Otherwise, you'll need to spend real-world money.

Buying Birthday Edit Passes can allow you to change your birthday to an earlier day and force the player's birthday event to be triggered early.

Gifts From The Guys

You won't just get a birthday message from your main love interest but from all the love interests in the game. And, as love interests are added, you'll get more and more birthday wishes with each major character update.

Each one of the guys will surprise you, but the order is determined by your Affinity level.

That means that no matter who you have waiting for you in Deepspace Café, the first man to wish you Happy Birthday will be the one you have the highest Affinity with.

After watching the first birthday wish, you can watch all the others.

You can return to the birthday stories by entering the Event Menu at any point during the seven-day birthday event, or you can replay individual stories from the Love Timeline.

Each guy will give you a special gift, wish you birthday blessings, and yes, even sing Happy Birthday to you!

We recommend saving these birthday songs, but you'll be able to replay them any time from the Love Timeline, as every birthday story is saved and can be played from this menu.

Each of the gifts that you receive from the guys can be interacted with at his desk in the With Him menu of Deepspace Café, but only some of them have sustained interaction animations.

Xavier

Xavier's forgotten a lot of birthdays over the years — something you learn about during the story stages of his own birthday event. As he tries to wish you a Happy Birthday, you'll see that he's also forgotten the tune of the birthday song.

But once Xavier's gotten a hang of singing to you, he'll complete his well wishes with some sweet blessings and hand you a gift. Xavier's gift, Stellar Whisper, is a special radio channeling the sounds of Deepspace to help you sleep.

Stellar Whisper is one of the more interactive gifts you will receive from the guys. Triggering the animation of the item will start the aforementioned recording of the sounds of Deepspace and will send golden music notes dancing around the moon-shaped radio globe.

You can replay Xavier's birthday wishes at any time from the Love Timeline by selecting the entry titled, 'Blessing From The Stars.'

Zayne

Zayne has been and likely always will be the most traditional of the guys and that extends to his treatment of holidays. This loving doctor will make a toast to your health and sing you the sweetest of Happy Birthdays.

His birthday wishes echo his own birthday event as he talks about bestowing special blessings that will protect you for the rest of the year.

After he blesses and sings to you, he gives you the gift he bought: Frosted Breath, a cute little snowbird that, when turned on, creates a gentle snowfall in the room. You can use this item to decorate your desk and can interact with it at any time.

You can replay Zayne's birthday wishes at any time from the Love Timeline by clicking the entry titled, 'Dreamy Snowfall.'

Rafayel

Rafayel has always been one of the most forward love interest and his birthday wishes reflect that fact as well.

While most of the Happy Birthday songs you'll hear use pretty generic wording, Rafayel will call you some sweet, loving names to make the song feel even more special.

This man has never done anything in halves and will always give you the very best. In typical Lemurian style, Rafayel will ensure your birthday blessings last a full lifetime, channeling your blessings straight from the Sea God.

But, to make sure all your wishes come true, Rafayel will gift you Deep Sea Wish, a special wishing stone all the way from Lemuria. Clicking on Deep Sea Wish in the With Him menu will cause little red fish to dance around the stone. However, this animation is not continuous.

You can replay Rafayel's birthday wishes at any time from the Love Timeline by selecting the entry titled, 'The Ocean's Birthday Blessing.'

Sylus

Sylus's birthday wishes are arguably the funniest as you'll get to hear first hand the reason Tara insults his singing abilities in Sylus's Melodic Wave memory.

Sylus will attempt to sing you Happy Birthday, but... there's a reason we don't hear him sing more often. Kudos to his voice actor for really diving in!

After Sylus wishes you Happy Birthday and serenades you with a less-than-perfect rendition of the birthday song, he'll give you the gift he carefully chose for you. Following the musical theme, Sylus will give you a playable record you can interact with in the With Him menu.

Sylus's record, Chaos Melody, plays a mournful pipe organ melody recorded in the building Sylus brings the player to upon first meeting. Turning the record player on will automatically play and loop every time you're at his desk.

You can replay Sylus's birthday wishes in the Love Timeline by selecting the message titled, 'Hit The Bull's Eye.'

A Birthday Gift From The Devs

The guys aren't the only ones wishing you a happy birthday! The developers at Infold show their love for you through their special birthday gifts and wishes.

At the top right of the birthday event menu, you'll see a gift box marked Linkon Gift. Selecting the gift box will reveal Linkon City's (the Devs') birthday wishes and a pretty sweet assortment of goodies to use.

Linkon gift will grant you the following rewards:
