I know, yes... It's been a long time since that post I made. I have an answer, which surely no one should be interested in.
"I don't have the time I would like to have"
It's costing me too much energy to find a moment to sit in front of the PC and eat a few pages of a book, tutorial or documentation. It seems that all I do is rant, well, maybe, a little. This week I decided to change this "procrastination".
I don't remember mentioning it in the previous post but the Cybersecurity bug has been biting me for months. And yes, I grew up watching "Hackers" and how "They throw away our rights" and also some of "Pirate the planet." By the way, what a great song from "The Prodigy - Voodoo People".
Angelina, the crush from that time... All very cyberpunk, or not?
Putting aside that wink, this week I began to devour more knowledge on that side (from the beginning in TryHackMe) and among so many "Enroll free" that I have I came across a course from the Python Institute with certification, Essential or Beginner .
Like any course begins from the beginning of time, a little history, the birth, what type of language it is, who made it, etc, etc...
I am much more advanced than "that" (or at least that is what I think), in the course that I started almost 3 months ago virtually, we are reaching the end and we are starting to play with SQlite... I mean, from the plains of print ("I'm Pepe") to the creation of databases.
But there is my problem and I return to that "I don't have time" thing.
Yes, SQLite entered the playing field, having already left behind the functions, dictionaries, tuples, loops and so on, but it would be very difficult for me to assimilate so much information for something that I barely touch.
What's more, I am somewhat regretful of having signed up for the virtual course, since in one hour of class they throw a lot of data and for someone of 30, 1 child, 2 dogs, 1 partner, 1 job, it is very difficult for me.
What do you want to get at? Well, to what came with the previous post. Go step by step in progress. By the way, it helps me to know and test the knowledge that I acquired and that I am going to acquire.
Let's get to it...
The first LABS are simple, they teach the use of print (invoke, they say, magician) and I have to admit that today I discovered two more parameters, the SEP and END, which (clearly) were not informed in the virtualization.
As a starting point is a series of prints that form a star:
print(" *") print(" * *") print(" * *") print(" * *") print("*** ***") print(" * *") print(" * *") print(" *****")
Then certain guidelines are given to follow in the LAB:
#Minimizar el número de invocaciones de la función print() insertando la secuencia \n en las cadenas print(" *\n"," * *\n"," * *\n"," * *\n","*** ***\n"," * *\n"," * *\n"," *****\n")
#Hacer la flecha dos veces más grande (pero mantener las proporciones) print(" *\n"," * *\n"," * *\n"," * *\n"," * *\n"," *** ***\n"," * *\n"," * *\n"," *******\n")
#Duplicar la flecha, colocando ambas flechas lado a lado; nota: una cadena se puede multiplicar usando el siguiente truco: "cadena" * 2 producirá "cadenacadena" (te contaremos más sobre ello pronto). print(" * " * 2) print(" * * " * 2) print(" * * " * 2) print(" * * " * 2) print("*** ***" * 2) print(" * * " * 2) print(" * * " * 2) print(" ***** " * 2)
#Elimina cualquiera de las comillas y observa detenidamente la respuesta de Python; presta atención a donde Python ve un error: ¿es el lugar en donde realmente existe el error? #Haz lo mismo con algunos de los paréntesis. #El error lo marca en la linea de codigo, la cual le fue quitada la comilla, ahi es donde "ve" el error. Lo mismo para los ().
#Cambia cualquiera de las palabras print en otra cosa (por ejemplo de minúscula a mayúscula, Print) - ¿Qué sucede ahora? #Muestra en consola las lineas print hasta que llega a la cual le fue cambiada la min por la mayus. No existe Print, el error.
#Reemplaza algunas de las comillas por apóstrofes; observa lo que pasa detenidamente. print(' * ' * 2) print(" * * " * 2) #El codigo es ejecutado con normalidad, o eso quiere hacernos creer.
For now, I have reached this point in the first steps of the course, I would like to know if I followed the guidelines correctly, or if there is any other way to reach the result, I would love to know!
If you made it this far, thank you!
See you next time!!!
