Bitcoin (BTC), the world's oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, dipped below the $70,000 mark following a high of $72,000 yesterday.
Bitcoin (BTC) price fell below the $70,000 mark on Monday following a high of $72,000 over the past day. BTC price now stood at $69,504.62, registering a 24-hour loss of 3.71 percent, as per CoinMarketCap. According to Indian exchanges, BTC price stood at Rs 57.04 lakh.
Meanwhile, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum (ETH), also saw a 24-hour dip of 0.81 percent to reach $2,508.36 at the time of writing. ETH price in India stood at Rs 2.09 lakh.
Among other popular altcoins, Dogecoin (DOGE) price saw a 24-hour loss of 7.04 percent, currently priced at $0.1591. Solana (SOL) price also fell to reach $167.03, marking a 24-hour loss of 4.69 percent.
Further, XRP price stood at $0.5154, seeing a 24-hour dip of 1.06 percent, while Litecoin (LTC) price saw a 24-hour loss of 2.36 percent to reach $68.83 at the time of writing.
The global crypto market cap stood at $2.29 trillion at the time of writing, registering a 24-hour loss of 5.66 percent.
