Crypto.com Announces Support for the Kaia ($KLAY) Token Rebrand to Kaia ($KAIA)

Crypto.com recently announced its support for the Kaia ($KLAY) token rebrand to Kaia ($KAIA). This news comes ahead of the highly anticipated token reissue. As part of this rebranding effort, $KLAY will be delisted from both the Crypto.com App and Exchange on October 28, 2024.
Following the delisting, a 1:1 token swap from $KLAY to $KAIA will take place, and no action will be required on the users’ end. Crypto.com shared the details of this rebranding with its community through its official X account, outlining the upcoming strategies regarding this transition.
Here's a summary of the changes that will occur:
- $KLAY will be delisted from the Crypto.com App at 01:00 UTC and from the Crypto.com Exchange at 02:00 UTC.
- Users holding $KLAY will have their tokens automatically converted to $KAIA at a 1:1 ratio.
- This conversion will be reflected in both Crypto Wallet and Spot Wallet balances upon migration completion.
- Notably, $KLAY Target Price, TWAP, and Recurring Buy orders will be terminated.
- After the delisting date, KLAY will no longer be accepted for card top-ups, including Auto Top-Up.
On the Crypto.com Exchange platform, $KLAY spot trading and trading bots will be permanently suspended. Users are advised to close any active $KLAY trading bots by October 28, 02:00 UTC to avoid any trading disruptions. Crypto.com will announce separately when $KAIA deposits and withdrawals are re-enabled.
The migration of $KLAY to $KAIA is set to take place at a later date. Crypto.com will announce separately when the new $KAIA tokens are available for trading, and deposits and withdrawals will be live.
