Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds saw a third consecutive day of outflows on Oct. 3, with a total of $54.13 million being withdrawn from the funds.
This comes after outflows of $91.76 million the previous day.
Of the 12 U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs, ARK 21Shares’ ARKB fund led the outflows with $57.97 million, continuing four consecutive days of outflows with a total of $212.13 million being withdrawn this week alone.
Meanwhile, BlackRock's IBIT fund, which is the largest spot Bitcoin ETF by total net assets, saw inflows of $35.96 million, bringing its total inflows since launching to $21.5 billion.
Bitwise's BITB and Invesco's BTCO also recorded minor inflows of $2.65 million and $2.44 million, respectively.
The remaining spot Bitcoin ETFs were largely neutral on the day.
Overall trading volume across the 12 Bitcoin ETFs also saw a significant drop, decreasing to $1.13 billion on October 3 from the prior day’s levels.
Collectively, these funds have attracted a net inflow of $18.47 billion since their inception.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at $61,213.
Spot Ether ETFs saw net daily outflows of $3.2 million on Oct. 3, continuing the recent trend.
Grayscale's ETHE fund led the outflows with $14.69 million being withdrawn from the fund, followed by outflows of $587,090 from Fidelity's FETH.
However, BlackRock's Ethereum Trust ETHA countered some of these outflows with net inflows of $12.08 million.
The six remaining spot Ether ETFs were largely static for the day.
Trading volumes in Ether ETFs also saw a sharp decrease, with the nine funds recording a total trading volume of $115.66 million on Oct. 3, down from $197.82 million the previous day.
Since their July launch, these ETFs have seen net outflows of $561.05 million. At press time, Ether (ETH) was trading at $2,381.
