Bitcoin (BTC) mining company Bitdeer (00768.HK) saw a 66% year-over-year decline in self-mined Bitcoin production in September, with the company mining 164 BTC compared to 482 BTC in September 2023.

According to an Oct. 3 press release, Bitdeer's self-mined Bitcoins dropped significantly despite the company making progress in its mining rig manufacturing and research and development endeavors. Bitdeer confirmed that mass production of its SEALMINER A1 machines is on track for Q4, which will add 3.4 EH/s to its proprietary hashrate.

The company is also progressing with its SEAL02 chip, which recently completed its first production phase with an efficiency of 13.5 J/TH to meet changing market demands.
