Pebblebee has been making trackers that work with Apple's Find My for a while now. Earlier this year, it also launched trackers compatible with Google's Find My Device network. Now it has announced a new set of Bluetooth trackers that are compatible with both Apple and Google's tracking services.
With the new Pebblebee Universal trackers, you don't have to change your trackers just because you've switched from Android to iPhone or vice versa. However, a limitation they have is that you can't use the trackers for both networks simultaneously. So if you initially set them up to work with Apple Find My, you have to do a factory reset of the trackers to use them with Google's Find My Device network.
The Pebblebee Universal trackers include the Pebblebee Card Universal designed for wallets, passport holders, and laptop sleeves; the Pebblebbe Clip Universal which has a keyring and can attach to keys and bags; and the Pebblebee Tag Universal which has an adhesive and holes for a strap so it can be attached to anything including small items such as remotes.
All three trackers have LED lights and speakers, an IPX8 water resistance rating, and a rechargeable battery (USB-C charging), albeit with varying battery life. The Card has 18 months of battery life, the Clip has 12 months of battery life, and the Tag has 8 months of battery life.
4Regardless of which you choose, the price is $34.99 for a single tracker which is a tad higher than the Moto Tag (available on Amazon for $29.99). However, Pebblebee is also selling the trackers in 2-pack and 4-pack offerings, both with discounts. They are already available to buy from Pebblebee's official store.
