Garmin is ending the month with a new set of stable updates for its latest high-end smartwatches. To recap, the company released System Software 11.64 to combat high battery drain across the Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8 (curr. $1,099.99 on Amazon). Incidentally, it has just started rolling out a new beta update for the same smartwatches that is several revision numbers ahead of its stable counterpart.
Now, Garmin has jumped forward a few revision numbers on its stable software development channel too. Specifically, it has replaced System Software 11.64 with System Software 11.67, is said to make far fewer changes than its predecessor. As far as we can tell, the new update is available through the usual channels; occasionally, the company restricts new updates to its over-the-air (OTA) download service.
According to Garmin, System Software 11.67 has a one-line changelog. However, that line focuses on more than a single bug fix or improvement. Allegedly, the new update bundles 'bug fixes and improvements' relating to the Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8's Adventure Racing activity. Unfortunately, Garmin has not shared any other details about this update yet.
