Garmin brings new watch faces to budget wearable via new update

Garmin is having a busy end to the month, having released new updates for the Enduro 3, Fenix E, Fenix 8, Forerunner 165, Instinct Crossover, Instinct 2, Vivoactive 5 and Venu 3 series. Now, the Lily 2 (curr. $244.99 on Amazon) can be added to that list thanks to a new update.

For context, Garmin upgraded Lily 2 from v4.14 to v5.13 at the end of last month with various changes. Incidentally, Garmin introduced the Lily 2 hybrid smartwatch at the turn of 2024 in regular and Classic trims. While the pair share identical hardware like 1.00-inch x 0.84-inch displays, only the Classic supports Garmin Pay.

According to Garmin, Software Version 5.14 brings new watch faces to the Lily 2. Unfortunately, the company's forum post does not provide any more information in this regard. Allegedly, the update should have now reached all eligible units. If that is not the case, then Software Version 5.14 can be downloaded through Garmin Express or Garmin Connect Mobile (GCM). Please see the company's forum post for more details.
