The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus is now official as Samsung's smallest flagship tablet of 2024. For context, the tablet has arrived alongside theGalaxy Tab S10 UltraandGalaxy S24 FE. However, Samsung has decided against directly replacing theGalaxy Tab S9(curr. $819 on Amazon).
As expected, the company has moved its flagship tablet portfolio away from Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. In their place has arrived theDimensity 9300 , which MediaTek bases around one ARM Cortex-X4 CPU core clocked at 3.4 GHz, three other Cortex-X4 cores clocked at 2.85 GHz and four Cortex-A720 cores restricted to 2 GHz. Additionally, the Dimensity 9300 features an Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU, as well as MediaTek's NPU 790.
Moreover, the chipset allows the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus to provide Bluetooth 5.3, sub-6 GHz 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. On top of that, the tablet contains nano SIM and MicroSD card slots, which Samsung augments with eSIM functionality. Furthermore, Samsung has included a 10,090 mAh battery that supports 45 W wired charging and quad speakers within a 285.4 x 185.4 x 5.4 mm housing that weighs 571 g and 576 g in its Wi-Fi and 5G trims, respectively.
Arguably, a star of the show is the tablet's 12.4-inch AMOLED display, which outputs at 2,800 x 1,752 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an anti-reflection coating. Elsewhere, Samsung has included the same 13 MP primary and 8 MP ultra-wide-angle rear-facing cameras as theGalaxy Tab S10 Ultra, but only a single 12 MP ultra-wide-angle front-facing camera. For reference, Samsung will open pre-orders on October 4 and has priced its latest 'Plus' tablet at the following prices:
