Xiaomi reveals new Robot Vacuum X20 Max as best global model

Xiaomi has unveiled the X20 Max robot vacuum for the global market. The smart home product was shown at the brand’s September launch event alongside the TV Max 100 and the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro smartphones.

Xiaomi says that the X20 Max is its best ever robot vacuum for global markets, with up to 8,000 Pa suction power. It features a hair-cutting mechanism as seen on Chinese models like the M30 Pro, with a retracting blade used to free tangled hair from the roller brush. The robot also has an extending mop arm to help it reach all corners and edges of the room. At the base station, dust is automatically collected from the robot’s onboard dustbin, and the clean and dirty water tanks are also replenished and emptied. On top of this, the mop is washed with hot water and dried with hot air to keep it hygienic. Xiaomi claims that this system allows for up to 75 days of hands-free cleaning.

The robot uses LDS navigation and can run for up to 160 minutes on a single charge. You can adjust any captured 3D maps and control the device from the Xiaomi Home app. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Max will retail in Europe for €649 and has already appeared at the retailer Robocleaners. Another cheaper model, the X20 Pro, is also expected to arrive in the region at a later date, priced at €499. Xiaomi sells the slightly older and less powerfulX20 in Europe for €399.99.
