When it comes to the quality of the whole package, most users will be impressed with the Dell G15 5530. The main reasons for this are the super fast 360 Hz 15.6-inch IPS display that covers 100% of the sRGB gamut and the performance on offer.

Per our testing, the Core i7-13650HX and the RTX 4060 combo offers enough performance to both crunch through CPU-intensive tasks and enable 60 FPS gaming in AAA titles at FHD resolution. For instance, our review device played Cyberpunk 2077 at 80 FPS with FHD/Ultra settings.

Aside from performance, the laptop also boasts a decent port selection with four USB ports (one Type-C with DP), a large 86 Wh battery, and solid wireless connectivity. The machine also has good battery life for a gaming laptop, lasting 6 hours in our WLAN test.

However, the Dell G15 5530 does make some compromises the chief of which is the added heft. Weighing just shy of 3 kg(6.61 lbs) alongside a 1.34 kg (2.9 lbs) power adapter, the laptop is very heavy and bulky. So, it will be difficult to take it with you on the road.

Then, there is the issue of the unusual M.2 2242 SSD slot. Although you can find M.2 2242 drives on Amazon, they are not as ubiquitous as the full-sized M.2 2280 drives.
