The INZONE M9 II arrives as a direct successor to the INZONE M9, which is now a little over two years old. Incidentally, Sony has also presented the INZONE M10S today, which we have covered separately. As for the INZONE M9 II, Sony has built it around a 27-inch IPS panel that outputs natively in 4K.
Additionally, the monitor supports a 160 Hz refresh rate with 1 ms GtG response times. At any rate, the INZONE M9 II can mitigate image tearing using NVIDIA G-SYNC and VESA Adaptive-Sync when connected over DisplayPort. Moreover, the monitor boasts full array local dimming for up to 400 nits full panel and 750 nits HDR peak brightnesses.
On top of that, the INZONE M9 II comes VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified and is said to cover 95% of the DCI-P3 colour space. Furthermore, the monitor is TÜV Rheinland flicker-free and low blue light certified with support also offered for HDR10 and HLG high dynamic range modes. For reference, the INZONE M9 II is compatible with Sony's INZONE Hub software, too.
