Decathlon Rockrider E-ACTV 900 new hybrid e-bike launching this year

The Decathlon Rockrider E-ACTV 900 e-bike has appeared. The model is the second in the series, following the E-ACTV 500, which launched in April. Like its predecessor, the latest electric hybrid bicycle has Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to track your ride and adjust settings in the Decathlon Ride app.

The E-ACTV 900 has a double mid-drive motor with a Continuous Variation Transmission (CVT) from Owuru. The motor has 250 nominal power or 600W peak power and up to 65 Nm torque. A 694 Wh battery is said to allow you to ride with assistance for up to 130 km (~81 miles). Plus, a color screen sits between the handlebars, showing information such as your speed and providing controls for the assistance mode and a USB-C port. Other features include a suspension fork, Tektro T280 hydraulic disc brakes and 30 lux lights. The 6061 aluminum step-through frame is available in three sizes, from small to large, and two colors: flint gray and bronze green.

According to product listings for the Decathlon Rockrider E-ACTV 900 e-bike in the UK and the Netherlands, it will retail for £2,999.99/€2,699.99. Rumors suggest that the model will launch later this year, though an exact release date has not been revealed.
