Every day, they work tirelessly to serve and protect us. This week, LEAD Upstate is celebrating the officers who courageously dedicate their lives to law enforcement.

LEAD stands for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. It's a time to show our gratitude and provide tangible support to our officers.

Friday marks the 10th year for LEAD Upstate's Line of Gratitude, where hundreds of officers who serve Greenville County will receive breakfast, a special challenge coin and a valor bag filled with carefully selected items for them, all thanks to generous sponsors.

WYFF 4 is proud to join many others in the community in support of this well-deserved celebration. The unwavering commitment, dedication, and bravery of our officers should never be forgotten. They risk their lives and keep us safe.

Although Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is one day, LEAD Upstate works all year long to make this happen. We believe finding time to thank the people who make a difference in our lives is an important mission every day.
