COIN Announce Chicago Performance At Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom In Support Of New Album
COIN will be performing at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom on Oct. 4, 2024, in celebration of their new album I’m Not Afraid Of Music Anymore. They will be joined onstage by opener Aiden Bissett.
Formed in Nashville, COIN is a band that features Chase Lawrence on lead vocals, along with Ryan Winnen on drums and Joe Memmel on lead guitar. The members met in a music theory class while attending college. They started writing music together, and eventually, COIN was born.
Their first EPs were released in 2012, but the band didn’t gain much traction until 2015, which is when their debut single “Run” was released. Hot on the heels of that single, they released “Talk Too Much” in 2016, which helped put them on the map. “Talk Too Much” was later released again in 2017 and included on their second studio album How Will You Know If You Never Try.
In total, the band has released 29 singles and six albums, including I’m Not Afraid Of Music Anymore (2024), which was released just last month on Sept. 13, 2024.
COIN is known for its pop-indie sound, and this album incorporates that while continuing to advance that sound. They utilize their instrumentals—including drums and piano—to create dynamic songs.
The band wasted no time in getting on the road for their tour. This new album was released on Sept. 13, and their tour begins on Sept. 29. They will be in Chicago a few days later on Oct. 4, 2024, where they are set to take the stage at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom with opener Aiden Bissett.
