Blizzard irons out multiple issues in World of Warcraft

Almost two decades since it surfaced to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise, World of Warcraft remains an impressive undertaking with millions of followers. Until now, this massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) received no less than nine major expansions, of which multiple flavors are now supported simultaneously. Last year, two future expansions were unveiled, namely Midnight and The Last Titan. Earlier this week, Blizzard announced multiple hotfixes across various realms and flavors of this popular title.

The issues that have been ironed out in the last few days were plaguing World of Warcraft: The War Within, Cataclysm Classic, Season of Discovery, WoW Classic Era, and Hardcore. These are some highlights:

  • Rewards for Nemesis and Let Me Solo Him not delivered upon defeating Zek'vir not received bug solved, but those who faced it need to complete the event again (on any difficulty).
  • The First Echo, A Series of Echoes, and Many Echoes are now credited in raid groups.
  • Multiple Mage-related fixes, of which three involve Living Bomb.
  • Forgemaster Throngus' Molten Pool visual bug in Grim Batol is now gone.
  • Theater Troupe map tooltip displaying wrong information is no longer an issue.
  • Mister Muskoxeles now appears properly in Collections.
  • Death Knight San'layn adjustments, most involving increases in damage or trigger chances.

In addition to the above, multiple classes received tweaks, but many in-game items also had their parameters adjusted. The list includes Ara-Kara Sacbrood, with a primary stat reduction of 5%, Cirral Concoctory, with a 5% effects increase, a 10% damage and healing reduction for the Shining Arathor Insignia, and so on.

Those who want to get ready for the next year can already order the 12 x 12-inch 2025 World of Warcraft Wall Calendar by Trends International off Amazon for a price of $17.99.
