Vampire-themed first-person shooter Trust coming to Steam

Founded in 2017, Byte Barrel is an indie developer with a small portfolio, which consists of just two titles so far. These areMythbusters: The Game - Crazy Experiments Simulator and the dark retro shooter franchise Forgive Me Father, with two installments already available. In the near future, this studio will release another first-person shooter with graphics similar to Forgive Me Father, but featuring immersive sim elements and allowing the player to enjoy the story from the perspective of a vampire who is forced to fight humans. The name of this title is Trust.

According to the official trailer, Trust is "coming bloody soon," and those interested can already wishlist it on Steam. Sadly, there is no price or accurate launch date to talk about yet. The story is quite interesting, placing the player in a world where humans use vampire blood in reactors and batteries to generate power for entire cities, cars, and common household appliances, as well as weapons. The hand-drawn setting is rich in detail and mysteries, while the story allows the user to choose stealth or go out all guns blazing to achieve the tasks needed to move forward.

In addition to the above, it should also be mentioned that day and night play a key role in this game. During daytime, the player needs to take advantage of the shadows in order to survive and carry on with the mission at hand. This title will launch in English and Polish, with partial Xbox controller support and only a single-player mode, at least until they decide (if ever) to add multiplayer in a future update. Since it contains scenes of violence and gore, going as far as drinking the blood of human enemies, Trust will be most likely rated as a game for adults. The list of minimum system requirements is reasonable, mentioning Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 3 processors, 8 GB of memory, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070graphics (or something similar).

Those looking for a new video card who are not willing to spend almost $1,000 for it can currently grab the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 WINDFORCE OC 8G (GV-N4060WF2OC-8GD)off Amazon for $299.99.
