IFA 2024 | AGM Pad P2 Active debuts as convertible rugged tablet with Android 14

AGM Mobile has come toIFA 2024to present the Pad P2 Active as its latest tablet, and its first with areinforced black-and-orange casing. It is touted as outdoor work-friendly thanks to its a 360°flip-out ring that can act as akick-standor handle at need, not to mention a detachable strap.

However, unlike most 'rugged' tablets, the case can actually be removed from both the front and the back so that the Pad P2 Active can double as an everyday device at need.

Thetablet is rated for IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810H-rated durability even without the case, and is rated for 8,000mAh of battery capacity as opposed to 7,850mAh in the P2.

However, the P2 Active is virtually identical to its predecessor once out of the case, and also still has an 11-inch 90Hz display driven by the well-worn Helio G99 SoC with Android 14, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage out of the box.

Then again, this also means that the P2 Active packs support for microSD cards as well as dual-SIM 4G/LTE data, not to mention quad-speaker sound andWidevine L1 content.

It is already on Amazon for $299.99 today (September 7, 2024), and has now also been unleashed on the European market starting at €369.
