Acer has now lifted the lid on the Predator XB273K V5, which it has presented alongside the Predator XB273U F5 today as part of IFA 2024 showcase. As its name suggests, the Predator XB273K V5 spans 27-inches across and is the latest in a long line of Predator XB273K-branded gaming monitors, after the likes of the Predator XB273K V3 (curr. $369.99 on Amazon) that arrived earlier this year.
Likewise, the latest Predator XB273K continues to rely upon IPS panel technology rather than VA or OLED. According to Acer, the Predator XB273K V5 outputs natively at 4K (3,840 x 2,160), which it complements with a 160 Hz refresh rate and as low as 0.5 ms GtG response times. Added to that, the monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium to mitigate image tearing and the following ports:
On top of that, the Predator XB273K V5 boasts 400 nits peak brightness and 95% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. Furthermore, Acer has included a pair of 2 W speakers, a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount and a stand that offers -5°-25° tilt, ±20° swivel, ±90 pivot and 150 mm height adjustments. Currently, Acer hopes to begin selling the Predator XB273K V5 globally in Q4 2024. As it stands, the monitor is set to retail for $499.99 in North America, €699 in the Eurozone and CNY 3,999 in China.
