Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version continues to dominate in latest AnTuTu flagship performance ranking

On AnTuTu's last flagship performance ranking, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version came out at the top with quite a noticeable score difference. The story is more or less the same for the latest top-performing Android phone list. RedMagic's 9S Pro+ with the overclocked Qualcomm SoC is on the top.

More specifically, the RedMagic phone had an average of 2,127,528 points (16/512 GB 9S Pro curr. $899 on Amazon). However, unlike the last flagship phone performance ranking, the new list has more smartphones with the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the topmost positions. The second phone on the list is the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, which has an average of 2,107,208 points.

iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ and Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro take third and fourth place with average scores of 2,106,419 and 2,093,592, respectively. Both are powered by the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The first device with MediaTek SoC that entered the list is the iQOO Neo9S Pro. It features the Dimensity 9300+ and has an average score of 2,091,933, securing the fifth spot.

Redmi K70 Ultra with the same SoC has the sixth spot, and it has an average of 2,085,769. The other phones in the latest AnTuTu top-performing Android flagship list are as follows:

  • Vivo X100 Ultra at 7th position with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and an average score of 2,050,569
  • Vivo X100 Pro at 8th position with Dimensity 9300 and an average score of 2,019,403
  • Vivo X100 at 9th position with Dimensity 9300 and an average score of 2,015,347
  • OnePlus 12 at 10th position with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and an average score of 2,010,851

Worth noting that AnTuTu makes these rankings each month by considering a few criteria. One requires Android phones to pass at least 1,000 valid runs throughout the month, which means not all phones are considered every month. Moreover, benchmark scores can vary depending on the configuration and the test conditions. So, the average points don't stay the same for each month.

Another thing to note is that synthetic benchmark scores are just one of the criteria you should consider when purchasing a new phone. While it's an important aspect, there are many other factors, such as the screen, battery, software, and cameras, that should be taken into consideration.
