SwitchBot's latest product is the Wallet Finder Card, a tracker that you can insert into your wallet or bag so you can easily locate them if they go missing. However, what makes the SwitchBot Wallet Finder Card different from its rivals is that it does more than serve as a tracker for your wallet.
TheSwitchBot Wallet Finder Card works with Apple Find My, and its ultra-thin profile allows it to easily slide into your wallet. It also has a hole in the corner for a lanyard for attaching it to other objects. As is expected of any tracker, owners can use the companion app to find the location of their missing belongings and even get notified when the item isn't within range. TheSwitchBot Wallet Finder Card also has a button that users can press to ring a misplaced phone.
In addition to the aforementioned, the SwitchBot Wallet Finder Card goes even further by working with other SwitchBot products. Thanks to having an NFC chip, the Wallet Card Finder can be used to unlock SwitchBot Lock Series products. Folks who own a compatible lock can unlock their door by tapping the SwitchBot Wallet Finder Card against the lock. SwitchBot says the card can't be copied as it is securely encrypted (AES-128 bank-level encryption).
Furthermore, if you have a SwitchBot Hub with multiple devices linked to it, the Wallet Finder Card can connect to the Hub via Bluetooth and trigger automation settings. For example when going home, the Hub can turn on the air conditioner, close the curtains, and turn on the lights once it senses the Wallet Finder Card is within range.
TheSwitchBot Wallet Finder Card has a 540mAh battery that should last up to three years, and like other slim wallet finders, the battery can't be replaced. However, it will continue to work as an NFC key card for your door locks even when the battery is dead. There's also a QR code on the card that someone can scan to get your contact if they find your card. Thetracker comes in black, weighs just 12 grams, has an IP67 waterproof rating, and is compatible with iOS and Android devices.
