According to news from this site on September 2, Thermaltake announced today the launch of the CTE E550 TG mid-tower chassis. The case adopts a dual-compartment design, with the motherboard installed 90° counterclockwise and equipped with tempered glass panels on the front, left and rear sides.
CTE E550 TG case supports 12"×10.5" E-ATX motherboard and is also compatible with back-plug motherboard models. Because the motherboard is rotated so that the "rear" I/O connectors face up in this case, devices connecting to the "rear" connectors require longer cable lengths.
This case supports three graphics card installation methods, namely hanging without using PCIe extension cable, hanging and flipping using extension cable, and floating installation using both extension cable and floating bracket.
