RedMagic reveals more specs of its new gaming tablet
The second RedMagic gaming tablet will be fully unveiled on September 5. A recent benchmark run on AnTuTu revealed that it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, making it as capable as the company’s latest Android smartphone, the 9S Pro (available on Amazon).
RedMagic has now revealed a couple of key specs of the gaming tablet. First, the brand shared the display specs. The device will feature a 2.8K screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 840 Hz touch sampling rate. These specs mean that the display should be able to offer a smooth and immersive viewing experience.
Next, RedMagic has confirmed that the gaming tab will have 5G connectivity. Given that the device packs the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, this 5G connectivity could make it a good pick for those who want to stay productive on the go.
Moreover, the company has shared that the new Android tablet will feature a four-channel linear speaker setup. With this, RedMagic aims to offer an immersive audio experience. There’s support for DTS:X Ultra as well.
The last aspect that the company has confirmed with the latest round of teasers is the camera setup. On the back, the RedMagic gaming tablet will feature a 50 MP sensor, while the front will sport a 20 MP selfie shooter. Although the company hasn’t shared any samples, this setup does make the gaming tablet seem capable of taking decent shots.
