Huawei Sound Joy 2 debuts as new waterproof wireless speaker with long battery life

Huawei's new product launch event is around the corner, with reports suggesting that it is set for September 24. Ahead of the event, the company has announced the Huawei Sound Joy 2, a new wireless speaker with a large-sized battery. More specifically, it features an 8,800 mAh battery, which promises up to 26 hours of runtime.

There is 40W fast charging supportas well. Huawei says that it allows the Bluetooth speaker to offer up to an hour of listening with just a 10-minute charge. However, the long battery life and fast charging feature aren't the only highlights of the Sound Joy 2. The wireless speaker also has a durable design.

Huawei says that the Sound Joy 2 is built to withstand the wild world. It features an IP67 ratingand is wrapped with a woven fabric material. As for the audio performance, the speaker sports a quad-unit system, which features two radiators, one 10W silk diaphragm tweeter, and one 20W full-range speaker.

With Huawei Sound bass enhancement algorithms, the wireless speaker is said to offer up to 85 dBA of audio output. You can also make two Sound Joy 2 speakers sync with each other to get a stereo effect. Other highlights of the wireless speaker include RGB lights, three color options, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and support for the AI Life app.
