Motorola Moto G55 5G debuts as new mid-range smartphone packed full of features for under €250

Motorola has presented the Moto G55 5G, which has arrived alongside the Moto G35 5G in multiple markets. As its name suggests, the Moto G55 5G replaces the Moto G54 5G (curr. $158.46 on Amazon), which arrived just under a year ago. Specifically, Motorola installs a Dimensity 7025 chipset, which MediaTek bases on a 6 nm manufacturing process, as well as ARM Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 CPU cores. Moreover, the Moto G55 5G finds itself with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 30 W wired charging. Although wireless charging support escapes the device, its peak charging wattage is double that of its predecessor.

Furthermore, the Moto G55 5G features a 6.49-inch display, which contributes towards the device's 161.56 x 73.82 x 8.09~8.19 mm dimensions. For reference, the IPS display outputs at 1080p with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. On top of that, Motorola has included 50 MP primary (OIS), 16 MP front-facing and 8 MP ultra-wide-angle cameras. Currently, the Moto g55 5G is only available in the Eurozone, where it sells for €249 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Like theMoto G35 5G, the Moto G55 5G should soon reach 'select markets in Latin America and Asia-Pacific', along with the UK.
